Maria works with the puppies from the start to get them accustomed to noises, new experiences and toilet training and this creates a confident and smart puppy. Tilly came home with us almost fully toilet trained (bar a few accidents) and almost sleeps right through the night. While still a puppy she’s learning fast and I credit this to the work Maria does early on.

This is Pumpkin, the newest member of our small family. We are so impressed with Maria’s commitment and efforts to raise and train her puppies. You can tell how much she loves what she does. I can’t believe we have had the adorable Milo with us for a week already. He has been an absolute treasure. Maria at Candy’s Cavoodles has done a fantastic job preparing these puppies for their new families starting the toilet training, crate training, sit training and pet door training.

We got to visit Milo fortnightly for him to get to know us and in between got to see regular videos of what the puppies were up to. By the time he was ready to come home he was so comfortable with us that we had no problems with him settling in and even from the first night he slept the the whole night without any crying. Even the vet commented on how well socialised he was.

- DNA tested breeding dogs and explained the DNA test results

- allowed us to meet the mother dog in her home

- allowed 3 visits (2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks old)

- accommodating (rescheduled a visit when I incorrectly wrote down the day and missed the appointment. She also allowed us to pick up the puppy 2 days later).

- reassuring: I was anxious about having my first puppy and she was helpful in reassuring me of her services/expertise and how she could help.

- provided some professional training sessions before the puppies were 8 weeks old (using a doggy door, loose leash walk, sit, down etc)

- outstanding socialisation and de-sensitisation (Puppy culture program including loud noises, balance boards, touching all parts of their body etc. I was particularly worried about a specific loud noise at my home and she played the pups the noise to help get them used to it. Rosie is now perfectly happy sleeping at home when the noises happen!)

- toilet and crate training: Rosie has come home doing most of her poos and wees in the correct spot.

- uploaded frequent Facebook videos and pictures! These updates were the highlight of my day and I so looked forward to them!

- provided a helpful schedule, puppy info and four weeks of insurance

My puppy Rosie is a delight! She sleeps through the night, settles quickly with loud sounds, was happy in the car, settled for the vet visit and is extremely cute!

If you are thinking about welcoming a beautiful furbaby into your family, I highly recommend Maria from Candy's Cavoodles.

We got to meet Billie's babies at 2 weeks of age and selected our gorgeous boy, Milo. Maria also introduced us to Mum and Dad during this visit, showing us documents verifying their health.

Maria kept us updated with videos of Milo inbetween our 2, 4 and 6 week visit, which got us even more excited in bringing him home

From the videos on social media, you can tell that Maria is extremely devoted to developing confident and happy puppies. Maria exposes the puppies to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and includes training with a professional dog trainer from a young age. We can see this in Milo from the moment we brought him home at 8 weeks old - he is not scared of sudden loud sounds (unfazed by the vaccum and hair dryer), sleeps through the night, self soothes, uses the doggy door with ease, obeys basic commands and is toilet trained.

Got my Cookie this week from Candy's cavoodles. She’s so healthy and well trained. The first thing Cookie did when home is toileting on the fake grass, that's such a surprise to me. Maria takes so much time and care with her puppies and it really pays off! Getting to visit your puppy every fortnight is so wonderful as you see them grow and get to build a small bond ahead of home time. She answered all of our questions and made sure we felt confident bringing our puppy home. The puppy pack and puppy care booklet are so helpful and you can tell she is invested in setting us and the puppies up for success. We brought Scout home yesterday and he immediately settled into his new surroundings. No signs of stress or anxiety just confidence and a good sense of adventure! He already knows basic commands which are easy to reinforce at meal times and is quick to settle down when he doesn’t get what he wants (i.e. our dinner!). We introduced him to his crate slowly yesterday and when it came time to sleep last night he settled quickly in there too and only woke us up twice to toilet. We had a wonderful experience from the get go. We were able to visit Bella from 2 days old and every fortnight thereafter until we took her home at 8 weeks old. This was amazing because it allowed us to build a bond with her before bringing her home.

“Marcy is the first puppy that our family has ever had - we have always had older dogs and so we were mindful that new puppies are a lot of work & training - and we expected our puppy to be much more work than our already trained dogs - and we couldn’t have been more wrong.

Candys cavoodles has done so much work to prepare the puppies for their transition to home. The socialisation, stimulation, grooming and potty training make a world of difference when integrating our puppy into our home.

Candys Cavoodles are really passionate about what they do - and you can tell by the time and effort and nurture they put into the puppies. They have excellent customer service and their puppy packs make a huge difference when starting out with a puppy - and they openly offer plenty of advice and tips for the new puppy owner.

Our new puppy has the sweetest disposition, she is content and carefree - my husband and I keep saying it seems to good to be true, but she really is a dream. She is calm and content and happy to give us company or have some alone time. She loves keeping company with all of our children (three under three) and she is perfectly gentle and patient with them.

We never knew what a pleasure it could be to have a puppy till now - candys cavoodles really are worth their weight in gold.
